Six long years have produced too many anniversaries that mark too many
crimes against the rules of law, against whatever remains of human
justice, and against all that once represented civilized behavior.
Guantanemo Bay just passed its five year anniversary that celebrates
mindless brutality and torture wherein no person has been charged with any
crime-yet the Decider has decided that he is now the sole director for all
political power in this country and the world.
The role of Commander-in-Chief is a sub-text for the office of the
presidency of the United States - during a time of war. It cannot be
isolated to serve as the licensing authority for a Dictator who no longer
answers to the Congress or to the people that the congress supposedly
represents. The Decider does not have the mental or physical capacity to
be an all-knowing leader of anything at all, much less so when he becomes
just another belligerent Outlaw-claiming the right to use the wealth and
power of the United States as his private weapons against the people of
the USA and the world.
Congress has the sole power to make war according to the Constitution. The
office of the president within the administrative branch, serves ONLY to
carry out that function within the laws of the United States. Contrary to
what Cheney says: There are no other legal courses of action available to
the self-appointed Decider-because while Bush may currently be "the
president"-his job is to enforce only the legal dictates of the congress
of the United States. That function Bush has perverted to serve his
supporters-at the expense of every legality-to use the resources and the
wealth of this country for illegal and obscene acts of treason while
trying to crush this nation and imprison at least a third of the rest of
the world in the process.
Congress is searching for something that will allow them to resolve this
nightmare without taking any chances. This mutiny by the Cheney-Bush
leadership against the people of this country must be faced-either now or
in the very near future. Congress is hunting for legislative ways to block
the Decider from doing what he's decided to do-but there is no easy way to
stop these Outlaws-they must be impeached. The General Accounting Office
has found that nine billion dollars of the money appropriated under Iraqi
secret no-bid contracts, has "disappeared." This alone is enough
to remove Cheney (as his companies were the major recipients of those
funds), from his duties while an intensive Congressional investigation
goes forward. (1)
There is legal precedent for such
actions because Vice-President Spiro Agnew, a much smaller criminal in the
Nixon administration, was forced from office on much less serious charges.
Congress needs to stop making "gestures" and begin to ACT like
the authority that they are. The Constitution is very clear about how
out-of-control government officials, especially presidents, must be
removed: and we are out-of-time! There is no way that congress can
continue to "play-it-safe" if there is to be a country after this
constitutional standoff-which can only happen if Congress and the Supreme
Court own up to what they contributed to enable "The Decider" to become
who he says he is today!
None of this would be happening
if the congress had not illegally given their powers to the executive,
when they gave the Decider his License-to-Kill. This could also have been
prevented if the Congress had ruled on the intervention of the US Supreme
Court when they virtually appointed Bush on 12-12-2000. But that's history
and the nation cannot "move-forward" until these illegalities have been
rectified. Congress must declare the Commander-in-Chief's recent decision
to send more troops to Iraq as a violation of the will of the people of
the United States at whose pleasure both he and congress serve! There must
be a congressional vote on the War in Iraq, a binding censor on the
decider's mutiny - after which the money needed to continue the illegal
wars of conquest would be legally withheld, thus allowing the troops to
return home.
As for a plan that offers
"another way" such as Cheney is demanding in lieu of altering
the course of the War-on-Iraq, Cheney and the Congress might want to
consider this. In a sane world, where all our allies are leaving us alone
to fight the War-on-Iraq, and where the entire region of the Middle-East
is now virtually on the edge of a massive melt-down-this nation should be
proposing a Regional Summit-Conference to end the violence and
re-establish international law. That suggestion must be accompanied by an
American withdrawal from Iraq, to assure the participants that we are
serious. Instead the Decider wants to widen the areas of conflict to
insure that WAR becomes the only answer for every dispute. Under
Cheney-Bush there can be no "way-forward" that does not call for
ever-wider wars on yet more countries where all our plans for other people
are still unacceptable. By every measure the path selected in Iraq, by the
Decider and his thugs, is WRONG!
However there is also a
home-front battle against the public, being waged by the newly Democratic
majority who just passed the National I.D. Card Act - something which the
government says is voluntary, but which is something that can only be
understood as extorting compliance to a travesty of freedom - played out
against a backdrop of special privilege vs. being cut-off from the natural
rights of citizenship - in the name of National Security!
"The National ID is of
paramount concern to those of us who refuse to be tagged and numbered like
animals. Many do not want to comply, but don't know what to do as an
individual. First, this national identification is voluntary, not
mandatory for the individual. However, the sinister and devious minions
behind the scenes who write this legislation for our corrupt Congress
added some provisions they hope will force Americans to surrender, i.e.
you won't be able to fly on commercial planes, ride on Amtrak or enter a
federal building. You see, these areas are under the control of the
federal fist and they are counting on enough Americans who don't know what
this new law says, will simply comply in order to hop on a plane or train
to see grandma or for a business requirement:
"Supporters claim it is not
a national ID because it is voluntary. However, any state that opts out
will automatically make non-persons out of its citizens. The citizens of
that state will be unable to have any dealings with the federal government
because their ID will not be accepted. They will not be able to fly or to
take a train. In essence, in the eyes of the federal government they will
cease to exist. It is absurd to call this voluntary." Congressman Ron
Paul on HR 418 "
This is a metaphorical
gun-to-the-head for anyone unwilling to accede to the paranoia of HOMELAND
In-Security and all its attendant thuggery. (2)
The key to dissolving these kinds
of cages into which the public is being driven, by this Outlaw-government,
is to expose the events of 911 for what they actually were-the most
massive civil crime against the nation, carried out by those who have
profited most directly from every implication that has followed from that
event. Still there is no real intent by the new congress to attempt to
investigate the truth of 911 - because the truth would shatter this bubble
of fear which the Outlaws have been steadily constructing since that dark
September morning back in 2001.
Add to this the formation of the
NAU (North American Union), and its founding documents along with the
Council on Foreign Relations. This unification of Mexico, the US and
Canada is well along on its way to becoming an actual fact. This program
is not secret-yet the media continues to withhold all information about
the pending dissolution of this country or the formation of the NAU. (3)
"Supporting-the-Troops" is a
callous excuse to continue the war, when what is needed is something to
insure that this nation does not continue to slaughter people without due
cause. (4) No one asked the USA to
police-the-world, but like the death toll between the two
Bush-league-presidents, father & son together have slaughtered or
starved twelve million Iraqi's since 1991. Because under US intelligence
and black-ops directives, ninety percent of the crimes committed by Saddam
Hussein must also be added to this total number of people killed for no
reason except for the political intrigues of the few that are determined
to "own the Middle-East" and all its resources.
The title of Commander-in-Chief
gets its authority, directly from the Constitution, but to be legal the
office of the presidency must conform throughout to the desires of the
people and the congress of the United States-because to do what the
Decider is now doing-amounts to a unilaterally declared Dictatorship by an
out-of-control and unsound mind, with mega-serious-criminal intent!
Congress did not intend to create a Dictator it only intended to
facilitate a war that we now know was based solely on lies from its
inception to the present moment. This is yet another crime of treason
against the country and against the millions of people whose lives this
administration has so carelessly destroyed-including Americans!
It should be noted that it took
Cheney-Bush about two months to come up with this latest insult to the
intelligence of the world. If this "way-forward" was so
important why did it take our national poster-boy for personal
incompetence two full months to decide to go against every other
considered course of action? Why did his address to the public include
threatening Iran and Syria as well as Lebanon and Palestine instead of
finding real ways to end the war? The US elections were about ending the
war, and finding new directions in Iraq. However the Decider told the
world, in his distorted form of speech, that everyone else was wrong and
that he would be going forward - "Staying the Course," with additional
troops, instead of seeking any other way to begin to change anything about
his course in the region. In other words he basically told the world that
he, George W. Bush is now officially the first self-declared dictator of
the USA.
If congress will not act
forcefully and very soon to stop this insanity-then we shall all shortly
become far more deeply immersed in that "unending war" that Cheney-Bush
seem to be so fondly starting, once again! Dictators have a notoriously
short lifetime in this world-just as do thoroughly corrupt politicians
when as public servants they are caught in the public spotlight of
corruption. Americans need to resist the current mutiny coming from the
Oval Office just as we need to reject the National I.D. Card Act.
Moreover, Congress needs to stop wasting the public's time and do the hard
things NOW!
