After
more than six years; four of which have been dipped in pools of the
darkened blood of several nations-it would appear that a national debate
on America's War policies ought to consist of more than five minutes per
member, in the US House of Representatives. One state, Vermont, has
finally come up with its own non-binding resolution against the surge and
the war. It's a beginning at least. What has happened to the public's
outrage when contrasted with the accountability coming from our tarnished
house of theoretical leadership? (1)
When viewed in "context" it
appears that governments efforts to diffuse the public's genuine outrage
is not working; at least not as many of the outlaws thought it would. If
the darkly stained circle of contributors, who created these wars, thought
they could "pull this off" without a hitch-It appears they misjudged the
depth of damage to the public that's been done to the national psyche.
Also they obviously underestimated the public's response to an ongoing
military defeat that was never able to even approach "victory"
in Iraq or Afghanistan. Now on the virtual eve of the attack on Iran, set
tentatively for March 17th, 2007 - it is time for an open and nationally
televised debate with all the usual administration suspects on a national
podium, before the public and the world.
Formulating the questions will be
difficult, but neither "national security" nor "immunity from public
inquiry" should be allowed to prevent this event from taking place.
Congress, due to its proven collusion with the administration should be
relegated to the sidelines-and the questioning ought to be led by a
competent, internationally recognized Special Prosecutor that could sift
through the public's questions and ask about the pivotal points that these
criminals have been dodging since they first assumed power. No-I'm not
holding my breath, but just imagine what could be clarified by such an
open session with those who have brought the world to this point?
However given the lead that
Vermont has now taken, why not take your questions to your own state
governments and assist those in State legislatures, with building on what
Vermont has just done? This partial form of outrage might go a long way
toward getting to the root of "Who, What, Where, When, &
Why" - when it comes to the story of this continuous administration
that has RULED us all, since 2000. True-this would not be a direct debate,
but it's about as close as we might ever get to the truth, and to the real
possibility of ending the false-flag justifications for all wars of this
type.
If the public cannot force the
return of our troops, then Iran and possibly Syria will be next! The
underlying tragedy in all of this being that the coming wars will cite
these existing wars, as their reason for invasion and "regime
change"-unless the American public can bring current actions to a
halt.
This is not designed to ignore
the geo-political problems of our time. This is designed to stop the hell
that we would unleash from the skies, whenever we sentence more capitals
of the world into the nuclear flames of unwarranted attacks.
It is also designed to force this
government to talk to other nations; to try to find regional solutions to
differences; and to disavow the abhorrent current US policy of pre-emptive
interventions anywhere in the world today. In other words we must return
to following the rules of International law and to the Geneva Conventions,
which we helped to write. In this process the world must find the answers
to what really happened on 911 - because with the truth behind that event,
the entire history of the years since that day will be forever altered!
If there are no rules in
international relations or if we are allowed to continue to violate the
International rules of Warfare, as well as the rule of Habeus Corpus -
then we shall never be able to rip away the curtains of stealth and deceit
that still shield 911 from the public's view. That September day in 2001,
is still the giant shadow that openly or subtlety has been behind every
action that this government has taken-from which countries to invade, to
what government programs to slash-even to the total corruption of nearly
every government function on the books today. To-date there has never been
a public DEBATE about any of this government's actions which 911
supposedly promoted, or continues to create...
There is "Terrorism" alright
in this world, but the targets of our concern are not the same as those in
the news: and it is this that must be thoroughly discussed.
Neither the people of the United
States, nor the other "citizens of the world" are "the innocent and
submissive children" that this administration paints us all to be:
The adults in this society do not need another "father figure" especially
not one that is so totally screwed up, and so completely in the sway of so
many "interests" other than those he is charged with defending.
Under color of "national security" the figurehead from the coup of 2000
has left Americans exposed to hundreds if not thousands of "enemies
within" the United States-many of them were and are creatures that
are still active within his various administrations.
Here's an excerpt from "The
Undertaker's Tally" on parts of Rumsfeld, (Twice the US Secretary of
WAR) just one of those creatures who directed thousands of Americans to
their deaths, but who also, with the stroke of his pen has murdered
millions throughout his decades in power!
"It all yielded more myths,
more confected history by a submissive, uninformed media profiling
post-9/11 power. There would be the image of Rumsfeld as White House
"dove" on Vietnam, when his bent was exactly the opposite; or
that Nixon, it would be claimed, saw him as uniquely in touch with the
diversity of the country, especially the young - when the reality was that
Rumsfeld, having served an impatient three terms from his lavishly
unrepresentative rotten borough of Winnetka wealth, with his generic
contempt for the 1960s and his part at OEO suppressing the emergence of
millions of the young poor, was anything but.
At the time, privately at least,
his grasping shallowness led to withering - now long-forgotten -verdicts
from knowing witnesses. Even a jaded Nixon would eventually deplore him as
"a man without idealism." His extensive experience with despots
giving the judgment added weight, Henry Kissinger came to think Rumsfeld
the "most ruthless" official he had ever known.
In a Washington that routinely
hides its ugly inner truths of character and incompetence, none of it
mattered." (2)
The list of thugs that have, or
have had, government positions is obscene. The appointment of so many
openly Israeli sympathizers in US government positions is outrageous,
given the statements of AIPAC and their long-term desires on both US
policies and their right to determine those policies. AIPAC needs to be
registered as a foreign lobby! Those doing business with this foreign
lobby need to clearly be identified their sympathies printed on every
piece of campaign literature, as having taken money from this foreign
lobby-if that is not done-then at least the public will know that the
American government is no longer theirs to command.
This national DEBATE is so long
overdue that just the fact alone is damning! We need to end this nightmare
now, before we become so entangled in the Tar-Baby-of-Iraq that we can
never correct the things that got us into this obscenity in the first
place! The sands in the hourglass of our lives is running out.
