The world is balanced on the edge of
an open chasm that appears to be bottomless. The Winds of Global War are
tearing at the underpinning of many societies, and they along with the rest
of us are about to be pulled into the vortex of that storm that will end
the lives and dreams of millions of people the world over.
Many have been trying desperately
to find the culprits behind these events, in order to root them out and
take the world back to that time before the nightmare. But we can never go
back, because too many have permanently lost their innocence, and far too
many others have had their lives ruined by gapping holes in their personal
history created by the maiming or the deaths of too many that they loved.
The world that survived the Second
World War, still had some time and room to dream, blithely unaware of the
vast and overlapping webs of competing powers that were and are about to
make a meal out of what is left of humanity. "Come into my parlor said the
Corporate Spider to the Fly" and because the big war was over - the Flies
accepted the invitation at face value. Because American Society largely
accepted that deceptive invitation, it now owes more to the constructs in
"The Lord of the Flies" than to anything constructive that we
might have sought to gain. So there is no going back! There is only that
need to burn away the webs and the layers of lies and promises that have
entangled so many in the schemes and intrigues that have thrived for
millennia upon the darkest of motives that any human could conceive. So
much promise and potential squandered, in so many nations in search of a
quick buck; it is this fatal flaw that has brought this world to the very
edge of ruin once again!
America was a flawed proud land,
at the end of the war but its people had a high degree of diversity, and a
depth of knowledge about many professions. The numbers and types of jobs
were great, and life seemed to hold some promise for the future. Shortly
after our return from the European and Pacific theaters of WWII, the new
power of our future masters was already taking shape. This
first head was called "The Man
in the Grey Flannel Suit."
This was a revolution, a stealth
project in plain view. This was the beginning of the loss of human rights
for those who worked at the newly minted corporations. From this meager
beginning corporations began to construct their monopolies, to subtlety
insert the steel spikes of the dollar sign that could separate one's home
life from the workplace. Only those willing to subordinate their own
desires to those of their corporate employers could rise to the idea of
dreams untold, to finally capture the success of wealth and power. It was
here that the school systems began to feel an invasion in the curriculum,
while the cities came to know the overriding preferences imposed by
corporate promises. While civil rights and freedoms were working out new
ways to play their parts within the new success - the corporate mind was
planting minefields and structuring their strategies to steal it all-in
time!
Of course this was far more
blatant in our foreign policies that remained as they had always been -
since we first became a major Colonial Power. (1)
This juncture marked the
second head of a two-tiered track for
America, a nation that had already mastered the language that requires a
carefully forked tongue. But the public didn't care then either, and this
allowed a thirdlayer of deception -
this one was called Corporate Citizenship and it implied responsibility,
even though nothing could have been further from the truth!
In the 1950's America was quietly
overtaken by the corporations and while the nation slept on - throughout
most of the 1960's - new trunk-lines of power and money made huge but
subterranean inroads into what most Americans thought of as their way of
life.
After Korea: By leaps and bounds
the sharks began eating each other in manufacturing, and business, in the
arts and leisure. After Vietnam communications were swallowed up; and the
stage was set to begin to do for corporations what people had tried to do
for civil rights. Thanks to the slumber of most of us they succeeded beyond
their wildest dreams. The seventies marked a time for digestion of recent
corporate gains, and it was here; after Nixon; that Rummy and Cheney began
to draw up their plans during the Ford administration. Finally along came
Ronnie with his "visions" for America, soon to be followed by
Newt Gingrich and his Contract ON America. In this, the limits of the
public's patience had been tested and the powerful were pleased; because
when given a choice, Americans had obviously preferred not to get involved.
In 1987, the Carlyle Group was
founded and they began to buy up military and civilian industries along
with much, much more - to build a war machine the like of which the world
had never seen before. This marked the entrance of the
fourth overlapping layer of power and influence -
secret financing and contractual controls over who gets the money that the
government will spend. (2)
The
fifth head on this hydra appeared to have been sleeping
throughout most of the years leading to this point; this was the black-ops
side of what domestic America thought she had been doing. But it seems that
while the US was enmeshed in this adventure with ourselves: we were being
closely monitored by Israel. As a result our "intelligence" had
been compromised, our communications monitored and filed away. Soon we had
a new master, because a tiny country knew too much and her wishes could not
be ignored.
Prominent people began to die in
the USA - mysteriously - but after a number of these inexplicable deaths it
became clear that these murders had destroyed the last of our national
naiveté-and then everything began to change. America became more than just
accommodating to whatever corporations sought. The dye was cast, and the
winds of global war began to blow.
The multi-national corporations
began vertical integration and that became the Corporatocracy. This beast
became the sixth head of a still
different layer in the overlapping boards of control that had made plans
for what should become of America and of the American public.
Finally we come to
the seventh head on this seven headed
hydra that consists of The Will to Power. In this realm, there are no
longer any national borders, no longer any international agreements or
limitations of any kind upon the powers of the Corporatocracy. There is now
only profit and collateral damage - the AGENDA" is all. Whatever feeds
these ever-changing agendas will survive, and anything that opposes what is
sought-must be destroyed.
Welcome to the New World
Order!
Now after only five years of
theft, mass murder and treason the slumbering giant that was the American
population is finally beginning to awaken. What we have seen above involves
international Bankers, religions of all sorts, politicians of all stripes,
plus rogues, thieves, and criminals both common and outrageous. Throw in
huge mercenary armies, along with actual US military personnel, and then
outsource virtually everything that could ever turn a real profit and you
have USA Incorporated: This then is the seven-headed monster that now
believes that it alone is in charge of everything.
Here's how the latest form of the
beast now looks, inside Iraq: Here all these schemes and plots come
together, thanks to the diligence of Antonia Juhasz in her new book:"
The Bush Agenda - invading the world one economy at a time." (3)
Our forefathers made this possible
when they allowed corporations to become people, without mandating any
responsibilities whatsoever. We may not be able to go back - but we can
fight this criminal conspiracy in all its forms, if only enough of us can
find the stomach for it!
