The Nexus of Failure

Fifty-four minutes of delusions, spiced with a mixture of fabrications and lies. One year after he used the same podium to justify just walking way from Afghanistan – without Osama bin Laden, or Omar – and there he was again. Now perhaps, even more determined to scare the hell out of every man woman and child, to justify his continued existence.

Except that - last night there was no mention of Osama or the truth in today’s Afghanistan – no reference to the fact that it’s quietly slipping back into Taliban control, while our soldiers continue to die there. We are indeed a nation "at War" – but the enemy is the Bush-Sharon-Cabal.

The commander-in-chief spoke glowingly of our men and women in the armed forces, but he forgot to mention that he’s cut their benefits by $1.8 billion, since the attack on Iraq began. Aside from his secret classification of the deaths of all our military personal or the media blackout of the return of the dead for burial; coupled with his complete disinterest in the wounded (he was too busy raising money for his re-election) – George W. Bush loves the men and women of the US military!

Internationally our dictator worried that if we hadn’t attacked Iraq: then the resolutions of the United Nations would just be meaningless paper. His excuse was that Iraq had been snubbing the UN for twelve years. He did not mention that Israel has been spitting on UN resolutions for over half century – yet no one has advocated that the USA needs to bomb Israel back to the Stone Age. It would appear that our infant-terrible suffers from selective enforcement tendencies, at least when it comes to all things Israeli.

Bush went on to speak about the "Cause of Freedom for this Republic" (his latest excuse for the slaughter of so many more people). But in the context he used last night "the cause of freedom" was used as a threadbare shield for tyranny, for multinational theft and for international crimes against humanity.

There is a huge difference between what this White House says and what it actually does, and nowhere was this clearer than in Bush’s own recitation of what he "has done" and what he is now "proposing" for the future of what used to be our nation. The ‘speech’ was loaded with un-funded mandates and empty slogans. This seems to be part of every address to the nation that he gives – and the results of each year’s new failures, that he always manages to overlook. Last night was no exception.

The White House had been working on that speech for six months. They had reviewed their agenda, and found ‘solutions’ for the problems they perceive we are having with his leadership. What they came up with was even more ridiculous than all his previous rantings combined.

The Bush solutions for 2004 are a triumvirate of jobs, health care, and education, which are just three areas of decimation that he has created in the last three years of his clue-less administration. Now Bush wants to claim these key domestic areas as his ‘solutions’ for the social problems that he and his co-conspirators have created.

His military adventurism, into world affairs, has become the major threat to peace and freedom in the world today. And the spin-off from these policies has created huge swaths of paranoia and terror around the world – making a joke of security – in all its forms: This because Bush maintains that he can protect us from "everything." The Cabal’s designs, for international and transnational theft of the world’s resources, has pushed the nation’s of the world to the brink of anarchy. And his list of enemy nations (unmentioned last night) – has left a deep rift across the planet between the haves and the have-not nations. Only the very few, those with private armies, sleep better with Bush at the helm.

Domestically, he told us last night that he plans to plunge our dreams and our civil rights into freshly poured cement, when he described the necessity for making the Patriot Act permanent; making the tax cuts permanent; and making his attack upon the availability of US jobs - the new law of the land. Then, so as not to leave any precept of this nation’s laws untouched – Bush announced that he plans to destroy all the remaining separations, called for in the constitution, between church and state. On top of seeking ‘to make this a Christian country’ – he also began to advocate - that raising "our" children is now the province of the federal government. Not content to stay out of the bedrooms of America, or the classrooms (he’s seeking to legislate abstinence as public-school curriculum), Bush now wants to dictate what will be good for all our children too. Of course if he had funded his program "No Child Left Behind" then maybe the education of the young wouldn’t be in all the trouble that it is today. If some of that money that went to the War had gone into education, medicine, or job creation – then maybe we might be better able to manage our own lives?

The one thing not mentioned in this State of the Union, is the fact that there is NO money anywhere for anything except the military. He also failed to point out that our-great-great grandchildren will have to pay for his fantasies. Still, without money, all his domestic rantings will again come down to smoke and mirrors.

It has been roughly 28 months since 9-11 and there has been no investigation yet. No government official has been censured, chastised or fired. And macho-man himself has not seen fit to explain his failures to protect this nation on that day. Instead he has chosen to compound the outrage by deliberately stonewalling any and all investigations of that pivotal event. Without 9-11 there would not be a Patriot Act, one or two: Without 9-11 there might have been a massive investigation into all the fraud and criminality in business, in politics, in banking, and even into investment-fraud and insider trading on the markets as well. Without 9-11, there might have a public debate about the unilateral practices that the Bush Doctrine has pursued in international relations – both at home and abroad. In brief Bush and his Cabal owe virtually everything to the continuing cover-up of the events of September 11th. In the end it is easy to see why this thief-in-chief has chosen not to honor his sworn oath to protect the constitution or the people of this nation "from all enemies whether foreign or domestic."

Until Bush can prove who was behind the attacks of 9-11, it must be assumed, that those attacks were domestically designed and possibly carried out. That’s why George W. Bush is the nexus at the heart of what is now the failure of the American Dream.
