Bush is the Nexus of Failure
Tonight’s State of the Union address was meaningless
because the national agenda was set well before these creatures took
office. Those who wanted to hear about ‘domestic issues’ will have to
share the spotlight with all those who have died at the hands of this
administration – over the last three years. Bush has claimed a mandate
to ensure security.
Instead, Bush & Company created a Nexus-of-Failure
where all can clearly see the duplicity, the deceptions, and all the lies.
"In George Orwell’s classic novel 1984, the
‘Ministry of Truth’ declared: "War is Peace – Freedom is
Slavery and Ignorance is Strength." To these hallmarks of
double-speak the Bush administration has added, "Lies are
Truth!"
Here we are once more at the annual crossroads of deeds
committed and failures denied. And again we have seen a litany of lies
being spread over open societal wounds inflicted on this nation and the
world, courtesy of The Bandits of the Bush Regime.
"War is Peace"
In http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/011704A.shtml
Vice-president Cheney says:
"Bush was establishing, as Truman had, a new
structure for a new long-term war and spreading the military into new
areas of the globe." Here we have the
doctrine for perpetual war that in Cheney’s brain equals perpetual
peace. And in this farce he sees a "war" that will never end.

For his part, Bush has been lying to the nation and the
world since he stole the office he says is his.
|
And the results have borne only the most rotten fruit for
all to see. Some of the Democratic contenders seem to worry about having
been "too angry" over the deeds done by this administration.
http://antiwar.com/reese/?articleid=1717
Anger is only the first part of taking any action, and
it is a healthy response to a despicable situation.
Those who are not angered by all the blood spilled and
the treasure wasted by these bandits and their co-conspirators must be
completely cut off from the rest of the human race. How can people justify
having not paid any attention to who should occupy the office, - until
this moment in time? Maybe this has something to do with the completely
misleading media view that hangs on every word, every proposal of this
administration, as though its decisions were handed down from somewhere on
high. The fact is most of these proposals come straight from the sewers of
humanity’s most egregious failings. And whatever else may have happened
between 2000 and 2004, the hands of everyone in authority here, are still
dripping with the blood of thousands. And those bloodstains will mark
every program and every solution that this administration tries to carry
forward.
We are in a race to return to the days of the robber
barons: Back to a time when we still had child labor, and the virtual
slavery of indentured servitude. In that time we also had racism, sexism,
and unchallenged dominance by the elites, no matter the cost or the
consequences. We are seeing the reversal of all that we’ve worked so had
to obtain – never mind the colossal waste of life, of energy, and of
global expectations? Why do so many now seem to want to allow that to
happen? Maybe it’s only because those who have jobs, still feel that
they can afford to remain unconcerned. But to the many more, this is just
another confirmation that Orwell’s "Ignorance is Strength"
is a concept that has political power well beyond his novel.
"Freedom is Slavery."
One needs only to look at ‘the liberation of the Iraqi
people’ to see the obvious parallels. On the ‘home front’ we can
watch the flight of millions of US jobs being sent offshore so that
corporations can downsize their costs by 90%, while they increase the
costs of their goods to customers. This "globalized form of
"Free Trade" is just slavery. The transnationals are killing
their own customer base, by denying Americans the decent jobs that once
made this nation the envy of the world.

What about the depreciation of having a college degree?
Despite the increased costs of a college education, what can "a
degree" be worth now, when there will are no jobs to fill?

The prescription for prosperity from the White House is
"Just Go Shopping." This dictatorship has overseen the greatest
number of job losses since Herbert Hoover in the Great Depression.
|
|
Couple that fact with two major tax givebacks to the filthy
rich, underwritten by the complete destruction of the social contract,
between government and the people, and the truth begins to have an impact:
This has been reinforced by the re-writing of expectations and obligations
under the specific compact that gives government’s their most basic
mandate, to rule this nation.
The level of cynicism is evident, in their simultaneous
destruction of the nation, their re-direction of profits solely to
themselves, and their criminally minded cohorts. This is matched only by
their arrogant distain for all the supposed legality’s and rights that
formerly belonged to anyone else on the planet. They were able to do this
because today "Freedom" under the Bush dictatorship has become
economic "Slavery."
History has proven that those who have become part of
the Nexus-of-Failure cannot win. They must eventually implode - because
their hunger for unreasonable power can only result in gorging themselves
to death. That’s a law of balance and of nature. There’s
a symbiotic relationship now, between those seeking global control and
those who want nothing more than to not see, to not know,
anything that may actually be taking place. Iowa sought the natural
yearning for optimism in this election year. But optimism cannot wear
blinders when it comes to what has happened to us, since Bush arranged his
own ascendancy. Politicians are talking about all that they want to give
to the American people: but no politician can ever guarantee to deliver
our dreams – that task we must reserve for ourselves. When government
becomes the barrier that blocks our way, then that government must be
removed from office.
So why are we not seeking to upend the coup that created
our current dictatorship? It would appear that we have been infected with
indifference – the strongest force in the universe. That indifference
has overtaken the American electorate. Indifference "lets neglect and
decay and monstrous injustice go unchecked, it does not act, it allows.
And that's what gives this national disconnect, so much (temporary)
power."

After ‘anger’ is transformed into constructive actions,
people must finally decide what true accountability means. Each of us must
decide what the political truths are now,
|
|
and what specific consequences must be enacted, so
that we can move forward both today and tomorrow. If any more proof were
needed that our current political system is dead, just look at the State
of the Union speech, and how it was received by what used to be considered
the opposition party. How much more basic can it get, when the president
can lie, and lie, and lie – then term everything the truth – and no
one even blinks!
Any candidate who cannot or will not address the
"consequences" that have to flow, from the dramatically
treasonable actions, that Bush has so blatantly embraced: is not a serious
contender to lead this nation.
This nation’s basic freedoms and goals as a people are
being threatened with total extinction, unless the machinery of this
transnational cabal can be clearly decimated, here at home where this all
began. Last night’s "speech" was a near total denial of the
events that took place last year. Bush added no new information, he only
poured new lies over the old, and called it all ‘truth.’ Bush sought
to deepen his determination to continue the slaughter of other people
around the globe in the name of national security. As long as we continue
to give him our complicit and silent approval - he will continue to
further fatten the coffers of his friends and co-conspirators, at the
expense of the whole planet.
Optimism is the feel-good fluff of politics. But only
reality will allow the ghosts of all those who have died for nothing to
finally leave us to the living of our own lives. The first step in seeking
that reality is to establish some consequences for the deeds already done
– while we try and repair this ‘cancer’ that’s been growing on our
body-politic for over three decades. If we chose to continue with the
status quo then the images above will become the backdrops for our lives,
and that’s not where most of us would prefer to live. Change, if there
is to be any, is up to us and always has been.
